Photo by Tom Slemen. The murder of Jaw Kay is one of the oldest unsolved crimes to remain on Merseyside Police s cold case files. Mr Kay s body was found in the flat above the laundry he ran at 44 Scotland Road - an property which has since been demolished. The alarm was first raised when someone arrived at Mr Kay s laundry and found it locked, prompting a call to police. ....
Nancy Iandoli , special to the News-Tribune Joaquin (Jack) Ligeiro of Edge Lane and also proud owner of his backlot address of Eric Drive has been selected as February 2021 Garden Selection of the Month by The Garden Club at Palm Coast. Jack, originally from Portugal, lived in New Jersey for 40 years with his lovely wife, Evonne, and they moved to Palm Coast four years ago. When I first noticed this backlot I thought this has to be a private nursery but I soon discovered that it belongs to Jack as well. When he retired, he wanted a hobby to keep him busy. The entire lot had an impressive thick mat-type ground covering with areas cut out where the plants go in order to control the weeds and have no messy dirt to walk on. This entire lot looks like an orchard with many fruit trees, flowers and various vegetables. He has more than 50 banana trees (and most had many bananas on them) as well as many varieties of oranges, lemons and tangerines. ....

Defense gets $8,000 for computer expert in triple murder case Nicholas Bahri Advertisement WARREN The attorney representing triple murder suspect Nicholas Bahri has been granted a total of $8,000 for a computer expert to help process “dumps” of evidence ahead of a planned Feb. 11 hearing. Bahri, 37, of West Bloomfield, was arraigned in the 37th District Court in Warren on Oct. 13 on three counts of first-degree and felony murder, various weapons charges, arson, and one count of mutilation and dismemberment of a body. Police allege “drugs and money” motivated Bahri to kill 31-year-old Tukoyo Moore, who lived in a home on Otis Avenue in Warren. The bodies of Moore’s girlfriend, Isis Rimson, 28, and Moore’s 6-year-old son, Tai’raz Moore, were found in the basement of the home on Oct. 1. Police went there after Tukoyo Moore’s body was found in a burning car in Detroit. ....
