CRESTLINE After a one-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Living History Days are being held at Lowe-Volk Park once again by the Crawford Park District in conjunction with Colonel Crawford’s Company.
The event will kick off with an opening ceremony on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. with the opening ceremony and will end on Sunday at 4 p.m. A schedule is listed below.
Living History Days tells the story of the capture and death of Col. William Crawford at the end of the Revolutionary War in June of 1782.  Beginning Friday night at 8 p.m.,  learn about the Native Americans who inhabited these lands. Saturday, June 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, June 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., watch the capture of Col. William Crawford, visit a Native American camp, listen to our Native American Storyteller Shequonur, shop or simply walk the park’s trails. Saturday night at 8 p.m., return for the Lantern Tour.
