Pension and Investments Firm Aviva Using Raisin to Launch Cash Savings Accounts Open platform Raisin is partnering with UK’s leading savings and retirement firm Aviva. The fintech leveraged its Raisin Savings as a Service technology to launch Aviva Save, allowing the pension and investments specialist to enter the cash savings market for the first time in the UK. The new Aviva Save platform offers 15 million customers in the UK a selection of fixed-term savings accounts with competitive rates. Aviva savers can pick and mix savings offers from a range of banks and manage them all fully digital under one roof on the Aviva Save platform – without paper forms or hassle, and with complete financial growth visibility. ....
36 advice and insurance firms will offer job placements to 58 youngsters in the coming weeks The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) will act as a gateway organisation for the UK government’s Kickstart Scheme. The professional body has received approval from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to arrange job placements for 16 to 24-year-olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long-term unemployment. Some 36 insurance and financial advice firms, including Zurich, Aston Lark, Foresight Financial Planning, Willis Owen, will offer job placements to 58 youngsters in the coming weeks. Once the initial job placements have been filled, the CII will be in contact with its insurance and personal finance members to ask if they are able to accommodate any further job placements. ....
Pension firm Netherlands CEO departs, while family office hires head of estate planning Aegon Maarten Edixhoven will step down as chief executive of the Netherlands at the pension firm, effective from 11 May 2021. He spent the last seven years at the pension provider, of which nearly five at the helm of Aegon’s Dutch operations. Edixhoven decided to pursue other opportunities outside the organisation.
