Muriel’s leadership at Bow Memorial School for 32 years and district-wide involvement included being an advocate for teachers and students, leading technology training both as professional development for teachers, and at the graduate level. In addition, Muriel was actively involved on multiple committees such as the BMS Technology Committee, Bow District Technology Committee, the Bow Education Association, BMS Scheduling Committee and many others. Karten McNamanara, 18 Prince St., and Connor Spern, 23 Union St. No. 2, have filed as of Tuesday. Councilor Meredith Hatfield resigned last month after moving out of the city. The special election will be held Tuesday, July 13. Candidacy filing is open through Monday, May 10, at the City Clerk’s Office. The filing fee is $5.
