It’s no secret that The Amazing Brentwood (TAB) has a lot to offer anyone who visits. While retail and entertainment options are aplenty, we’re mostly concerned about what we’ll be able to chow down on, as usual.
When it comes to food and beverages, TAB seems pretty stacked. Its new food court, “Tables,” offers everything from brand new concepts to local names we know and love, such as Japadog and Chef Hung.

New concept food court at The Amazing Brentwood mall opens (PHOTOS)

Just a day prior, TAB’s new Tables food court opened within a second level expansion attached to the existing indoor mall.
Tables brings in a food hall-inspired layout for its businesses, with island units for some of the tenants and a wide variety of seating configurations. The food court’s west side is enclosed by a floor-to-ceiling glass wall that brings in ample natural light, and provides diners with views of the street activity below.

Sephora to open at The Amazing Brentwood mall in Burnaby next week

Many of the cosmetic retailer’s well-known offerings will be found at this location, including a broad assortment of makeup, skincare, haircare, and fragrance brands.
This is the company’s second location in Burnaby and its 14th store in the province. For comparison, Sephora’s store at TAB will be roughly half the size of the chain’s flagship store on Robson Street in downtown Vancouver.
A wave of new major retailers and attractions are expected to open at TAB this year, following delays due to COVID-19.
Major openings anticipated in 2021 include the mall’s new food hall, Metro Vancouver’s first Cineplex The Rec Room entertainment and dining attraction, Cineplex’s VIP Theatres with five auditoriums, and a flagship H&M store with H&M Home. ....

Cactus Club Cafe cancels plans to open at The Amazing Brentwood mall

A spokesperson for Shape Properties, the developer and owner of TAB, says they are now in the process of seeking another restaurant tenant for the high-profile location, which is near the main entrance from SkyTrain’s Brentwood Town Centre Station.
This was intended to be a replacement location for Cactus Club’s existing location at 4219 Lougheed Highway, about two blocks to the west.
“Although Cactus Club will not be moving ahead with a location at The Amazing Brentwood, we look forward to sharing details about the new dining destination as they become available,” a spokesperson told Daily Hive Urbanized in a statement. ....
