It has been instructed to work with various ministries and other agencies to finalise economic-technical criteria for the buses and pricing. Its People’s Committee last month sought permission from the Government to operate 77 electric buses on five routes for a two-year trial period. The electric buses with 65-70 seats will be operated by conglomerate Vingroup during the trial period, but in future the operators will be chosen through tender. ....

Vietnam’s Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) expects to send 90,000 laborers to work abroad in 2021, mainly to high and stable income countries. Director General of the MoLISA’s Department of Overseas Labor Tong Hai Nam said the department has renewed its agreement on labor cooperation with Thailand, negotiated similar deal with Israel, and carried out existing agreements with South Korea, Japan and some other countries. ....
