The RBC Convention Centre supersite had to be evacuated due to a suspected gas leak on Monday, according to Winnipeg police and the province.
Police first announced the evacuation just prior to 2 p.m., telling people to avoid the area. The building, which houses the province’s largest vaccination centre, was evacuated as a precautionary measure.
