AFTER more than 40 years of teaching across Hampshire, Mike Buckett is retiring. The PE specialist trained at King Alfred’s College in 1976 and after graduating three years later, he took his job in Colchester. In 1983, Mike moved to Alresford to teach PE and Maths at Perin s School. He gained a promotion to head of boys’ PE at Hounsdown School in Totton, where he then became head of department.
