When that age opened up however there was high demand for appointments when my age group was eligible so I waited over a week to attempt to book online. So on Sunday, April 25 I decided at random after seeing people I know had already been vaccinated in Prince Albert to attempt to book online. The process was relatively quick at around 10 minutes with only a health card number and location needed. ....
Young students write Christmas letters to seniors Poll Government policy Students at Vincent Massey School are stepping up to help bring Christmas to local seniors. Various classes of students, led by teacher Tracy Elderkin, are working on letters that will be delivered to more than 300 seniors around Dec. 25. “We’re trying to connect students to the community in a COVID-safe way,” she said. “We’re working with several retirement homes in the community and I’m getting kids to make Christmas cards for the residents. “I also have the kids making a video that we will be sending out to the homes. The video can be shared with the residents over the Holidays.” ....

Grade 5/6 teacher Tracy Elderkin calls herself a huge fan of Christmas and asked the rest of the school to make Christmas cards or Christmas videos that will be delivered to seniors’ homes in the city. “I would think that we’re probably going to run in about three, four hundred Christmas cards and then the video we have at least eight different videos coming in that I’ll put together as one,” said Elderkin. “Some people are singing different songs, some are doing a poem, I’m doing Christmas jokes with my class, some are spreading messages. Just whatever way that we can bring joy to the residents.” ....
