An NYPD detective is suing a man who allegedly hurled racist slurs about the veteran officer’s Asian ethnicity, the New York Post reported. The incident allegedly was captured on video, showing the man spewing racist slurs at the detective, according to the lawsuit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court. The documents were filed by the Detectives Endowment Association on behalf of the complainant, Det. Vincent Cheung, who is assigned to the 5th Precinct in Manhattan. The suit alleges Terrell Harper harassed Cheung repeatedly during a demonstration on March 11, calling him a “goddamn cat eater” and asking if “he can see right,” according to the report. ....
