Bruce the Moose has migrated from Stadium Shopping Centre to new territory at the corner of Northmount Drive and 14
th Street N.W.
With the planned redevelopment of the lands where Moose McGuire’s Pub was a favourite spot for university students, hospital staff and everyone who enjoyed a welcoming atmosphere coupled with good food and beer the pub has been razed.

Never fear; the magnificent moose head has found a new home in the former Riverstone Pub, where it now looks down upon a completely renovated and renamed Moose McGuire’s space with 250 seats, plus an outside patio.

Owners of eateries and other businesses under COVID-19 lockdown are girding for another extension of restrictions they say are squeezing their chances of survival.
A day before a possible end to restrictions on bars, restaurants and gyms, the province’s top doctor said those measures must remain in place due to continuing high hospitalization numbers, and gave no indication when that decision might change.
