BJP on Sunday announced that it would contest on 115 seats in the Kerala Assembly elections, fielding state party chief K Surendran from two constituencies (Manjeshwar and Konni).

BJP on Sunday released a list of 112 candidates for the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections, fielding state party chief K Surendran from two constituencies (Manjeshwar and Konni) while Metroman E Sreedharan will contest from Palakkad. BJP will contest on 115 seats in Kerala.
Addressing a press conference, BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh said, In Kerala, BJP will be contesting 115 seats and the rest of 25 seats will be left for four parties. State BJP chief K Surendran will contest from two constituencies - from Manjeshwar in Kasaragod and Konni in Pathanamthitta. ....

The Kerala unit of Congress party is going to contest in 91 out of the 140 constituencies for the April 6 assembly polls with the final list likely to be released by Sunday.
State PCC president Mullappally Ramachandran, leader of Opposition in the state Assembly Ramesh Chennithala and former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy told reporters in Delhi that the party will be putting up candidates in 91 seats and candidates have been unanimously finalised in 81 segments. ....

Battle for 'Nemom': BJP's lone seat in Kerala Assembly becomes focal point in 2021 polls

Last assembly polls, the BJP got a 9.97 per cent vote swing in Nemom when it wrest the seat from CPI(M).

Thiruvananthapuram: Nemom, a suburb in Kerala s capital Thiruvananthapuram is becoming a focal point of the state assembly polls, with all three fronts betting huge for a victory on the lone seat that BJP managed to win in 2016 assembly polls.
The BJP leaders had referred Nemom as the Gujarat of Kerala and to upset the apple cart of BJP, Congress is playing its cards close to the chest.
For Nemom constituency we will be fielding a strong contender, who will have people s acceptance, said Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee President ( KPCC) president Mullappally Ramachandran. ....
