Final Results of 2021 Sedgwick County Municipal Primary Election
The final results for the 2021 Municipal Primary Election around 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3rd. Incumbents in all three elections did not receive majority votes.
For the Wichita City Council District 3 seat, small business owner Mike Hoheisel edged-out incumbent Jared Cerullo with 403 votes to Cerullo’s 378–despite the county reporting that 23 of 25 precincts had reported in for that race as of 9 p.m.
For the Wichita City Council District 6 seat, Maggie Ballard bested incumbent Cindy Claycomb with 1,147 votes, while Claycomb secured 1,087 votes.
Lastly, for the Park City Council Ward seat, Wichita Police Officer Charley Davidson received 98 votes, with Angie Carter trailing with 28 votes. Incumbent John Lehnherr received just 14 votes.
