Lisa was born on May 30, 1970, in Jamestown, N.Y. She received her undergraduate degree from Buffalo State College in psychology and her master’s degree in guidance counseling from St. Bonaventure University. She spent her career as a mental health advocate and was well respected in the Buffalo Mental Health Community.
She married Christopher McNeil and together they had a son, Rowan McNeil. In addition to her husband and son, she is survived by her parents, Jim and Lavina Elardo; and sisters, Laurie (Michael) Strunk, Barbara (Ken) Strother and Vicki (Jim) Nazzaro as well as several nephews and nieces. ....
