OnePlus on Monday launched in India a 40-inch screen variant of its Y series smart televisions. Priced at Rs 23,999, the OnePlus Y Series 40 goes on sale from May 26, exclusively on home-grown e-commerce platform Flipkart, at an introductory price of Rs 21,999. OnePlus has launched its new OnePlus series Y1 40″ Full HD TV in India. Similar to the older model this has 93% DCI-P2 Color Gamut and gamma engine, which the company calls OnePlus Cinematic Display, runs Android TV 9.0 with built-in Chromecast, has Google Play and Google Assistant. The company says that it has a bezel-less design offering a captivating picture quality and maximized display space and an impressive screen-to-body ratio at over 93%.
