ATV driver killed in Washington Parish crash 1 month 1 week 3 days ago Thursday, February 25 2021 Feb 25, 2021 February 25, 2021 9:24 AM February 25, 2021 in News Source: WBRZ Share: ANGIE - Louisiana State Police issued a news release Thursday, stating that a Wednesday (Feb. 24) afternoon crash claimed the life of a 67-year-old Angie resident. Police say Clayton L. Jenkins was behind the wheel of a 1984 Honda ATV on private property on the side of LA 436 when, for reasons still under investigation, the ATV drove directly in front of an eastbound 2009 Chevrolet Traverse and collided with the vehicle. According to authorities, the impact of the crash resulted in Jenkins being ejected from the ATV.

An ATV was driven into the path of an SUV resulting in the death of the driver of the ATV Wednesday afternoon in Washington Parish, according to State Police. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. near LA 436 and LA 62. State Police said that 67-year-old Clayton L. Jenkins of Angie was driving an ATV on private property on the side of LA 436, when, for uncertain reasons, the ATV went on to LA 436 and into the path of a Chevrolet Traverse.

Late Wednesday evening, Washington Parish Deputies were called to a home on Albert Magee Road in Mount Hermon for a domestic violence incident. When they arrived at the home, 28-year-old Dustin A. Crain confronted deputies while armed with two large knives. During the confrontation, a deputy fired his gun at Caine striking him. He was later pronounced dead at the scene by the Washington Parish Coroner’s Office.

Troopers investigating officer-involved shooting in Washington Parish

MOUNT HERMON - Louisiana State Police is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Washington Parish that happened Wednesday night. The Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office requested LSP to investigate an officer-involved shooting incident that happened in Mount Hermon around 10 p.m. The incident resulted in the death of 28-year-old Dustin A. Crain of Mount Hermon.   During an investigation officials discovered that Washington Parish deputies responded to a residence in Mount Hermon on Albert Magee Road in regards to a domestic violence incident.  When deputies arrived on scene Crain armed himself with two large knives and confronted the responding deputies. During this time a deputy fired his duty weapon striking Crain.
