The Saskatchewan Health Authority is advising residents about increased COVID-19 exposure in the Turtleford and St. Walburg areas.
As a result, some visitation limits have been put in at Turtleford Hospital, effective Thursday, December 17th at 8:00 AM. After that time, people will only be able to visit for compassionate care reasons, which can include but are not limited to, end of life care, major surgery or intensive care, maternal and paediatric care and inpatients and outpatients with specific challenges or needs that are being unmet.
When someone arrives, they will undergo a health screening and temperature check, need to wear a medical-grade mask at all times and extra PPE when needed, wash up when leaving and entering the facility or a patient’s room. Supporters or families will not be allowed to wait in common areas. ....
