VALDOSTA, Ga. â The Valdosta Board of Education voted unanimously in its July work session to require masks for the 2021-22 school year. I think it is in our best interest to follow the guidance of the CDC, Superintendent Dr. Todd Cason said. As that guidance comes out, we will make adjustments based on numbers in our local area and in the country.

VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) â The ongoing legal battle between former Valdosta football coach Alan Rodemaker and five Valdosta Board of Education members continues as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals decided Tuesday that Rodemakerâs case does not have sufficient facts to prove his claim of racial discrimination.
Circuit judges Robin S. Rosenbaum, Kevin C. Newsom and R. Lanier Anderson III chose to âvacate and remandâ the suit back to the U.S. District Court for Middle Georgia, finding that the district court should have dismissed his claim.
