McArthurGlen, Europe’s leading designer outlet group, today celebrates the opening of McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands, its major new £160 million fashion destination that is set to be the only stand-alone shopping centre to open in the UK this year.
The arrival of the landmark centre is a significant moment for McArthurGlen as it marks the group’s first UK opening in over 20 years, as well as a return to the market where it introduced the concept of designer outlet retailing in Europe with Cheshire Oaks in 1995.

Newborn killed when car hit pram


James Paul Davis, 34, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, West Midlands Police confirmed.

He was also charged with failing to stop at the scene of a collision and failure to report a collision.
Davis, from Walsall, was remanded in police custody and will appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
Camaron and Cody paid an emotional tribute to their premature son, who was born almost a month early, after he was killed on his first outing .
In a statement issued on their behalf by police, the couple said: We didn t get to keep you for long but we are happy we had the chance to meet you, look after you and call you our son. ....

Motorist, 34, accused of causing death of two-week-old baby boy Ciaran Leigh Morris is due in court

A motorist charged with causing the death of a premature two-week-old baby boy whose pram was allegedly hit by a BMW during a walk with his parents on Easter Sunday will appear in court this morning.
James Paul Davis, 34, is accused of causing death by dangerous driving and causing death by driving while uninsured after Ciaran Leigh Morris died following a collision involving a car in Walsall.
Davis, from Walsall, faces further charges of failing to stop at the scene of a crash and failure to report an incident.
