KUWAIT CITY, April 3: According to reliable sources from the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), the announcement for the recruitment of medical and technical staff at KOC’s Ahmadi Hospital will cover the needs for about 23 medical and technical specializations, reports Al-Anba daily. They highlighted the keenness of KOC to attract Kuwaitis to work in the hospital, indicating that instructions were issued by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) to attract more than 90 percent of Kuwaiti applicants. The sources explained that the relevant departments in KOC are conducting interviews for recruitment which began recently at the Ahmed Al-Jaber Oil and Gas Exhibition in Ahmadi, in order to meet the hospital’s needs.
AUD$50m Business Events Grants Programme extended by Australian government
The Australian exhibition industry has broadly welcomed the national government’s new package to support the Tourism sector “still doing it tough” in the wake of Covid-19.
In a statement released on 11 March, the prime minister Scott Morrison said the AUD$50m (US$38.9m) Business Events Grants Programme would be extended by three months to support Australian businesses to hold multi-day business events, covering up to 50% of costs incurred in participating business events during the 2021 calendar year. “This,” the prime minister said, “will help restart Australia’s business events sector.”
