Poole Magistrates Court A BOURNEMOUTH man has been jailed for assaulting two police officers. Kieran Joseph Keane carried out the “deliberate attack” on PC Hoslett and Acting Police Sergeant Wheable in Annerley Road, Bournemouth, on August 9 last year. Keane, aged 26 and of Watkin Road, Bournemouth, admitted two charges of assaulting an emergency worker as well as a motoring offence of failing to provide a specimen of breath. He also pleaded guilty to using a vehicle in Turbary Park Avenue, Bournemouth, on March 12, 2020, without insurance and a licence. Appearing at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, February 2, Keane was committed to prison for eight weeks for the police officer assaults. ....
