(Marvel Studios) In the latest episode of WandaVision, which featured a huge twist ending, Dr Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings) states that the energy bubble surrounding Wanda’s world is shaped like a hexagon. It’s this that leads her to refer to it as a “hex” in an exchange you can find below: Dr Darct Lewis: Monica Rambeaux: Dr Darcy Lewis: Oh, um, it s what I m calling the anomaly because of its hexagonal shape. It s starting to catch on. Considering that Far From Home also references SWORD, the new organisation fully explored in WandaVision, it’s no stretch to assume Fury knew all about everything that is currently happening in the series. ....
on the subject of continuity-stirring fan service. Could Marvel Studios cook up a cameo as strong as Freakin’ Luke Skywalker? Just this week, Elizabeth Olsen teased that, yes, they could. Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch would brush against the MCU and the crossover sparks would fly. What no one realized is that the Marvel cameo was happening this week on episode 5, “On a Very Special Episode.,” or that the nature of the cameo itself went beyond the Marvel Cinematic Universe as fans knew it. [ WandaVision, episode 5.] The unreality of Wanda’s Westview, New Jersey, reality is falling apart. Meanwhile, Vi ....

As you might guess, he has a lot of questions and those are questions that viewers have, too. Among those questions is one that is of particular interest given the structure of the world Wanda has apparently created and the overall structure of the show itself: why sitcoms? It s a question for fans since the very first episode and the answer may come down to what the sitcom format does as well as Wanda s dealing with both trauma and grief. ....
Why WandaVision Doesn t Need Mephisto WandaVision is roughly at its midpoint with its recent fourth episode, We Interrupt This Program and while the events of the episode have begun to offer major explanations for some of what is going on in the curious world of Westview, plenty of theories still abound as for who or what may be causing Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) to manipulate the world around her into a strange series of sitcom-like settings. One of the biggest theories is that the Lord of Lies himself, Mephisto, could be pulling Wanda s strings and while, with five episodes left, it s possible that the closest thing Marvel has to the devil himself will indeed prove to be the mastermind, the Disney+ series doesn t need Mephisto to tell a powerful story. In fact, the Marvel Cinematic Universe may be better served by letting ....
