Karachi: Sindh Law and Environment Adviser Barrister Murtaza Wahab has announced to establish two scholarships out of his own pocket for the students of University of Karachi (KU) in remembrance of his late parents as being the alumni of the university. Sindh Law and Environment Adviser made announcement to this effect while addressing an international conference at the Karachi University Business School (KUBS) as its chief guest. His late father Wahab Siddiqui was a prominent journalist while his late mother Fauzia Wahab was a senior leader of Pakistan Peoples’ Party. “I always say Karachi University holds a special place in my heart because my both parents were alumni of the KU. I only heard fantastic things about the Karachi University as what a beautiful place the KU was,” said Barrister Wahab who also acts as the spokesman for the Sindh government. ....

To call some superficial development work ‘change’ is a stretch, argued the citizens. And Karachiites know how much more effort is actually required in the city. Murtaza Wahab shared some photos of roads being carpeted by KMC. Taking to his Twitter account, he wrote:
West Wharf Road being carpeted by KMC, something which remained unheard of in the last 4 years. ....
