Mangaluru: Tenant forges property documents to self, martyred CRPF s widow seeks justice Wed, Jan 27 2021 07:31:06 PM Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru Mangaluru, Jan 27: After it was found that a person illegally swindled property of a widow of a martyred Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldier, various like-minded associations and youth associations have joined together to bring the widow to justice. Vasanthi Uday is the widowed wife of Uday Kumar, who served for 51st CRPF and was martyred at Chhattisgarh on August 6, 2006. With the ex-gratia received, Vasanthi had built a house after the death of her spouse, in which she lives with her two sons. However, due to her health conditions, she could not secure herself a government job on compassionate grounds, and therefore, had rented out one part of the house. She suffers from hyperthyroidism and is somehow making her livelihood from the rental income and compensation. ....
