Sue Maslin step downs as President of Natalie Miller Fellowship

Producer Sue Maslin will step down as President of the Natalie Miller Fellowship this week after more than 10 years serving on the Management Committee.
Maslin, whose credits include
The Dressmaker, Japanese Story and Brazen Hussies has a 35-year career in the Australian screen industry has been widely recognised. She was appointed as an Officer of the Order of Australia for distinguished service to the Australian film industry as a producer in 2019 and received the GCFF Chauvel Award in 2020.
The Natalie Miller Fellowship is the only grant of its kind in the country with co-sponsors Village Roadshow and KOJO, each providing $50,000 over five years in support of women in the screen sector. ....

Five years in the making, the enlightening feature documentary BRAZEN HUSSIES, chronicling the Australian Women’s Liberation Movement, will be screening at Bicheno Memorial Hall on Saturday 20th February at 7.30 pm followed by Q&A with Executive Producer, Sue Maslin. This follows the film’s Australian theatrical release in 2020.
BRAZEN HUSSIES introduces contemporary audiences to the Australian second wave feminists, who declared war on ‘male chauvinism’, traditional sex roles and demanded that women be set free from the ‘chains of femininity’.
