A study by scientists at the CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (CSIR-IGIB) and the National Centre of Disease Control â two key labs of the Indian Sars Cov-2 Genomic Consortium (INSACOG) that tracks the emergence of key variants of the coronavirus â claims that novel Coronavirus variant âDeltaâ (B.1.617.2) caused three out of four âbreakthroughâ infections in Delhi.
Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar who is in charge of Chamarajanagar district, said, “The reason for higher deaths is because people are getting admitted to hospitals only at the last minute when their saturation has dropped to the lowest level. If people are identified earlier and given treatment, then deaths can be reduced.”
