SC issues notice to Centre on plea to fill pending vacancies in PMLA Tribunal

New Delhi [India], January 29 (ANI): Supreme Court on Friday issued notice to the Centre on a public interest litigation (PIL) seeking direction to the Centre to fill the pending vacancies at Appellate Tribunal, Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in New Delhi expeditiously.
A Bench headed by Justice Ashok Bhushan seeks response from the Centre within four weeks.
The plea was filed by Advocate Amit Sahni who said that the government has failed to take adequate and appropriate steps on the filling of vacant posts in the tribunal. ....
