91.9 The Bend Photo by Robert Lothian New Brunswick RCMP is continuing to investigate a report of shots fired in the Centennial Park area of Moncton. Around 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Codiac RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle struck by bullets near Millennium Boulevard and Killam Drive. The shots appeared to come from the woods in nearby Centennial Park. There were no reports of injuries. Access to the park was closed and an Alert Ready message was issued as police conducted an exhaustive search of the park and surrounding area. Police continue their search for evidence. First responders at Jonathan Creek (91.9 The Bend Photo) First responders were called to Jonathan Creek late Thursday afternoon after a man was spotted in the water near West Main Street. Moncton Fire Platoon Chief Dennis Dollemont says the resident of an apartment building on Prince Street heard something in the creek around 4:30 p.m. Dollemont says a man believed to be in his 40s was rescued from the creek and taken to hospital.
