TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â The Tallahassee Professional Firefighters requested an additional audit be done to the city s Fire Service Fund.
In a press release, the union said:
In April of 2021 the Fire Chief of the Tallahassee Fire Department was directed by City Administrators to cut $1 million from his budget for the remainder of FY21. In that direction, the Fire Chief was told to entertain reduced services or reduced coverage to make up the shortfall. Due to the safety concerns these cuts would raise, both for the public and the members of the Fire Department, the Tallahassee Professional Firefighters have requested that an audit be completed of the Fire Services Fund. We feel it essential that this fund be immediately ....

Safe Davao QR to be integrated into StaySafe.ph

The Safe Davao QR (DQR) Code is ready to be integrated into the national government s proposed unification of all existing contact tracing applications in the country.
Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) head and DQR Implementation supervisor Lemuel Ortonio said they already received a communication from the Department of Information and Communications Technology in November 2020 regarding the planned centralization of the contact tracing system to the StaySafe.ph app.
The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases issued on February 26, 2021, that StaySafe.ph will be the primary contact tracing system, while the Safe, Swift, and Smart Passage (S-PaSS) travel management system will be institutionalized as the one-stop-shop application/communication for travelers. ....

Only 15% of establishments implement DQR scanning

AN OFFICIAL monitoring the SafeDavao QR Code (DQR) implementation in Davao City revealed that only 15 percent of registered establishments in the city are actively scanning the DQR code of individuals entering their premises.
Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) head and DQR Implementation supervisor Lemuel Ortonio said in a radio interview on Friday, March 12, that this was based on their statistical reports more than a month since the DQR became mandatory.
Daghan gihapon ta mga establishments nga wala gina-use atong DQR na system (There are many establishments that are still not enforcing the DQR system), Ortonio said in an interview on 87.5 FM Davao City Disaster Radio. ....
