With the April 7 by-elections ending in a crushing defeat for the ruling Democratic Party (DP), President Moon Jae-in said Thursday he accepts the election results and will take the people’s rebuke seriously. The leaders of the ruling party resigned to take responsibility for the shocking defeat. The main opposition People Power Party (PPP) requested for a complete renewal of the ruling party.
