9) I bought a new Dell All-in-One C5400 desktop computer on Tuesday last week at Costco, brought it home and set it up, and had most of my software and genealogy files up and running on Thursday.
10) I am still fine here at the Genea-cave, hunkered down and not going out much after Week 69 of COVID-19 isolation. Linda is still at the convalescent hospital (12 days now) and has made little progress with physical therapy for her left hip and leg - it hurts to move it. I have visited every day but only for 30 minutes out in the patio, although I did see the PT/OT folks twice. I went to church on Sunday and saw many friends of ours. The Padres season continues, and I went to the Saturday game with the Rockies and saw my brother Scott and his family; the Padres are now 53-40 (3-4 the past week) and have more injuries. 8) As noted in the item 7 link, our life changed significantly on Sunday, 28 June. We were in Huntington Beach, California visiting our daughter Tami s family, and saw two plays on Saturday and Sunday with our grandchildren acting in
Moana. During intermission of Sunday, Linda fell and broke her left hip. She was transported to the local hospital, and had a hip repair operation on Monday. She was transferred by ambulance to Chula Vista on Wednesday night and is in a skilled nursing facility at Sharp Hospital only a mile from our home for physical therapy and nursing care. I can visit for 30-60 minutes each day, but she is unable to put weight on her left leg at this time.
