$200K in grant funding available for children, their caregivers FAIRFIELD First 5 Solano has released a request for applications for annual grants with up to $20,000 per grant available to address the needs of children ages 0-5, their parents/caregivers and/or providers of services in Solano County. The First 5 Solano Commission will consider grant requests that fill community gaps, pilot new or innovative ideas and/or address time-sensitive community needs. The funding is also intended to help support the startup of projects and programs that can become sustained in the community. All projects proposed for the Annual Grants Fund must support First 5 Solano’s mission to promote, support and improve the lives of young children, their families and their communities.
