Middle Tennessee weather: Flood threat remains as rain moves out, temperatures drop Brett Kelman, Brinley Hineman and Rachel Wegner, Nashville Tennessean
Overnight weather triggered severe storm warnings, flash flood warnings and a tornado watch across Nashville and Middle Tennessee on Sunday. Southwestern Dickson and east central Humphreys counties also saw a tornado warning.
Parts of Middle Tennessee saw gusts of high-speed winds, flash flooding and hail. Around 2.7 inches of rain accumulated between Friday and Sunday at the Nashville airport, NWS Nashville meteorologist Caroline Adcock said.
Several flood advisories and warnings continue throughout the region Monday as the rain moves out.
