A 74-year-old man suspected of being involved in the seven Southington shootings that occurred on Memorial Weekend has officially been arrested in connection to two of the shootings on 11 charges Thursday afternoon.

HARTFORD, CT The 74-year-old Plantville man, who is in custody in connection with a wild shooting spree in Southington, also is accused of shooting at that the Connecticut Capitol Building, according to state police.
Douglas Floyd Gollnick was arrested Monday in connection with the weekend shooting spree in Southington, and state police said Wednesday that Gollnick also is responsible for the Capitol shooting. No injuries were reported in any of the shootings.
