BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – In another move toward shaping future dairy champions, Midwest Dairy has announced the 2021 North Dakota Dairy Ambassadors.
These two students will promote the dairy community and support Midwest Dairy’s mission to work with others to give consumers an excellent dairy experience at a variety of activities throughout the year.

The group of 2021 Midwest Dairy Ambassadors was selected from applications across the Midwest Dairy region, including Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. These students have a passion for dairy, are enrolled in post-secondary school, and possess strong communication abilities.

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The second annual King of the Sale Ring contest took place on the final day of the 84th annual North Dakota Winter Show in Valley City, with ten participants, each a licensed auctioneer, eight in the professional division and two in the rookie division.
Terry Moe, Watford City, N.D. won the professional division.
The auctioneer works at Sidney (Mont.) Livestock, Badlands Auction in Watford City, Montana Auction in Sidney, and Steffes Auction in Fargo.
The sale ring wasn’t the first career for Moe.
Six years ago, his wife, Angie, persuaded him to go to auction school, “and I just fell in love with it,” he said.
