POCATELLO – A local pediatric clinic is opening its first Pocatello location this fall.
Dr. Aaron Gardner with Just 4 Kids Urgent Care tells EastIdahoNews.com the Pocatello clinic will open at the end of September in the building formerly occupied by Black Bear Diner at 190 Bullock Street.
“We’re really enjoying what we’re doing. We’re having a good time working together. We like the team we’ve built and we feel like it’s a good thing … and we want to do more of it,” Gardner says. ....

Work begins on congested Hawthorne-West Quinn intersection

The cities of Pocatello and Chubbuck are once again moving forward with a much-anticipated project to install a traffic signal at the intersection of Hawthorne and West Quinn roads along the border between the two cities.
Pocatello Public Works Director Jeff Mansfield says right-of-way acquisition for the project is nearly complete and utility companies including Idaho Power were prepping the intersection site last week for construction thatâs set to occur in fiscal year 2024.
âWe are excited, as weâve been working on this project for quite a while now,â Mansfield said. âThere is a big need based on capacity and safety at the intersection and itâll be really beneficial to keep traffic flowing through that intersection.â ....
