Fayetteville Dogwood Festival names new director

There s a new person in charge of the Fayetteville Dogwood Festival.  The festivals board of directors named Sarahgrace Snipes, a Cumberland County resident who previously worked with the North Carolina Azalea Festival in Wilmington and other non-profits, as its newest executive director.  We are excited to have Sarahgrace on the team, board chair Nana Bentsi-Enchill said in a statement.  As the pressures of COVID-19 subside and events begin to return, she will take the lead in planning events that work within the Governor’s directives, plus getting acquainted with sponsors and others who are integral to the success of the organization’s activities.”

In California, Mary had been Drive Director, Fringe Benefits Director and Member Clubs Director for public radio station KCRW for ten years. Mary was raised in Rhode Island and graduated from Boston University. Mary recently served as President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Cape Fear Chapter.
