COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho Lori Isenberg, a convicted embezzler who plead guilty to the murder of her husband in February, will be sentenced Monday.
In a case that has drawn national attention, Isenberg was serving time for stealing money from a non-profit before being accused of murdering her husband, Larry. Larry was found dead in Lake Coeur d’Alene in 2018, and an autopsy revealed he had lethal levels of diphenhydramine – or Benadryl – in his system.
Right around the time of his murder, Lori Isenberg was under suspicion for stealing $579,000 from the North Idaho Housing Coalition where she worked. Her daughters were implicated in the scheme, as well.
