RBI's DGM inaugurates Souharda Fed's training program


Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative, recently organized a 7-day training program for the employees of Souharda Urban Cooperative Banks at Regional Institute of Cooperative Management, Padmanabhanagar, Bengaluru.
Smt. Ramakumari, DGM, RBI opened the training program by lighting the lamp, informs the press release issued by the cooperative.

Masraf Al Rayan net profit reaches QR2.175bn in 2020

Doha: Masraf Al Rayan has reported a net profit of QR2.175bn for the year ended December 31, 2020. The Board of Directors met yesterday and proposed to distribute a cash dividend of QR0.170 per share, equivalent to 17 percent of the paid-up capital. The proposed dividend is subject to approval by the Ordinary General Assembly, to be held on March 2, 2021, and Qatar Central Bank (QCB).

Sri Lanka : ComBank among Sri Lanka's '10 Most Admired Companies' for 3rd year

Dec 12, Colombo: The Commercial Bank of Ceylon was recently named among the ‘10 Most Admired Companies in Sri Lanka’ in 2019-20 by the International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka (ICCSL) in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
The Bank has been ranked among the Top 10 companies in this prestigious list in every one of the three years since the two organizations launched the list in 2018.
Commenting on this latest accolade, Commercial Bank Managing Director S. Renganathan said: “Being named among the ten most admired companies in Sri Lanka is a remarkable achievement, especially because admiration is subjective, and like respect, is earned.
