Doubts voiced about CGN nuclear project

There is uncertainty about the proposed China-involved construction of a nuclear power station near Bradwell in Essex in the United Kingdom, according to a minister with knowledge of the situation.
The Financial Times reported on Wednesday that Gerry Grimstone, a minister in the Department for International Trade s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, said questions hang over the proposed construction of the China-designed HPR1000 reactor.
The plant has been proposed by General Nuclear System Limited, a joint venture involving China s State-owned China General Nuclear Power Group, or CGN, and the French state-owned energy company EDF. ....

First robot that thinks out loud built in Italy - English


   
The robot has been created by two Palermo University experts,
Arianna Pipitone and Antonio Chella.
   
Pipitone is an expert in computational models for language and
Chella an expert in informatics and robotics.
   
Their research, published in the iScience journal, is an
important step towards a more effective communication between
humans and machines.
   
We d like to show that robots are machines able to think,
Chella told ANSA.
   
The idea that a robot can have a sort of thought is stunning,
and this can aid interaction, creating the right level of
trust .

Experts recently threw Meghan Markle under the bus for being the “wrong sort of American” to play the role of Prince Harry s bride.
Biographer and well-connected socialite Lady Colin Campbell recently posted a lengthy YouTube video discussing Meghan Markle’s lack luster charm as a member of the royal family and dubbed her a “vociferous misfit.
She explained how the “concerned member of the family” only “objected on the grounds of character … cultural differences” and not due to the color of Meghan Markle s skin.
The biggest off-putting point allegedly was that Meghan was the “the wrong sort of American” since she looked more like a “cool Californian babe” who believed “all of problems in life can be solved with a trip to the beach and avocado.” ....
