LS그룹이 토종꿀벌을 기르며 생태계 회복에 힘을 보탠다.
 
 
꿀벌은 2017년 UN에서 매년 5월 20일을 세계 꿀벌의 날 로 지정할 만큼 생태계에 중요한 곤충이다. 식물의 꽃과 꽃 사이를 다니며 수분을 하는 곤충으로, 멸종될 경우 인간이 재배하는 주요 100대 작물의 70% 가량이 없어질 수 있다고 알려져있다. 포르쉐와 롤스로이스, 아모레퍼시픽 등 많은 기업들이 꿀벌 살리기에 동참했다.
 
특히 토종꿀벌은 2010년 유행한 낭충봉아부패병 이라는 바이러스로 90%가 폐사하는 등 심각한 멸종위기에 처했다. 지역 양봉 농가 피해도 극심하다.< ....
