Bambino Buddy Ball to resume in July

Bambino Buddy Ball for those with special needs from age 5-19 is set to begin in July.
Bambino Buddy Ball allows children to develop confidence and self-esteem. Participants in Buddy Ball get good exercise, as well as the ability to make new friends. It is an emotionally rewarding experience not only for the players but for the Buddies, as well. Buddies are the volunteers who help the players hit the ball on the tee and run the bases.
Online registration began on May 10 and it goes until June 15. The form for both players and buddies can be found on Facebook on the North Platte Bambino Buddy Ball page.

Soul Sisters Gives of Geneva and Starfish Animal Rescue are teaming up to save the lives of puppies.
Starfish Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, volunteer-run organization that rescues dogs and puppies from kill shelters and heals them through fostering and medical care.
