Packaging Substrate / Materials: Glass bottle Arista Wines launched Mansao, a brand new wine line from Portugal. Ezi Brand Design created the naming, the storytelling, the packaging and all the creative material used in the different points of sale of the product. Ezi was inspired by Portugal, to create the design of the two Portuguese wines. The colors and shapes on the Mansao bottle are reminiscent of the ceramic objects that can be found everywhere in markets and gift stores. The swallow is also an important figure in Portugal, as it represents fidelity, love, harmony and prosperity, values that are highly respected in Portuguese families. ....
Printing Process: Flexography Klein Wyn, which means “little wine” in Afrikaans language, is made with Chenin Blanc, a classic South African grape cultivated for 350 years. This wine can be found in grocery stores everywhere in the province of Québec. Les Vins Arista entrusted EZI with the project, in collaboration with another graphic designer, to adjust the concept in order to maximize the effects of impressions on this design. Colors and textures inspired by African art are highlighted with metallic, bronze-colored hot stamping. The customized dieline and embossing add depth and an original touch that gives a unique look to the label. The creative design is accentuated with rich and vibrant colors to reflect the essence or the African continent. The brand was made to be affordable but with a unique and sumptuous look that inspire confidence and a high end quality. ....
