A mono-material HDPE tube with cap manufactured by Albéa has gained approval from RecyClass, proving its compatibility with the HDPE bottle-recycling stream.
RecyClass is a cross-industry initiative that works to advance plastics packaging recyclability in Europe through Design for Recycling guidelines.
“This announcement is another major step on our journey towards 100 per cent recyclable tubes,” said Gilles Swyngedauw, vice president for corporate social responsibility and innovation at Albéa. “Last year our Greenleaf 2 laminate tube technology was recognised by both Association of Plastic Recyclers in the US and RecyClass in Europe. Now is the turn of our extruded plastics tubes. This will allow consumers to recycle the whole tube, without wondering what to do with the cap. That’s why, in addition to our extruded plastics tube, we hope to have this tube+cap recognised by the APR soon.”
Mistake #1: You’ve gotten that second vaccine and you are proud to flash that COVID card on social media.DON T do it! People have been doing this like
crazy and scammers are having a field day. There is sensitive information on there that can be used to impersonate you. We ve been though enough with this pandemic and you would think that you don t have to worry about such things but sadly, we do. In fact, in times of crisis, scammers are working overtime because they re riding the coattails of emotion. Ever donate to a hurricane relief fund only to hear about all kinds of scams a week later? It happens all the time and you should keep your card all to yourself. There is talk of your vaccination card being used for allowing travel both internationally and domestically, for passports and potentially even for restaurants and other venues. In other words, you ll want to have your freedom card as I like to call it in tact. It is so important to have this information safe
Health Officials Join Warning Against Laminating Vaccine Cards
It s pretty obvious why medical professionals would have a problem with the phony vaccination cards. Why should you get the vaccination when you ve got a fake document that will open the doors for wherever you wish to go? If other states begin to follow New York State s lead and begin demanding you show proof of vaccination before getting on a plane, visiting a school, stopping by to see a friend or family member in the hospital, going to a movie or stage show, or any number of other things, look for the fake card market to get even bigger.
