CONCORD â Facing mounting criticism about the COVID-19 vaccine rollout, Gov. Chris Sununu responded with no new details and an emailed comment from Perry Plummer, who is in charge of the vaccine distribution. On Tuesday, state Sen. Cindy Rosenwald (D-Nashua) called on Sununu to open an investigation into what went wrong with the opening of the vaccine portal. Sununuâs spokesman Ben Vihstadt didnât respond when provided links to The New York Times accounting of the vaccine rollout showing 60 percent of received doses have been administered in New Hampshire and 7.4 percent of the population has received at least one shot. ....

It s even harder if you re doing a science project that involves working as a team to build a physical object while still maintaining COVID-safe protocols, says Monte del Sol Charter High School junior Brooklyn Martinez. She is part of a team of Monte del Sol students who won $4,500 in December in the New Mexico Governor s STEM Challenge for their garbage to gas biodigester project. Because of technical problems with a prototype and challenges posed by COVID-19, the team didn t achieve the exact outcome they were aiming for they still don t have a fully functional school biodigester. But the experience taught them that getting something right the first time may not always be as valuable as the ability to problem-solve and the willingness to keep trying. ....
