LENAWEE COUNTY, MI As more residents have received their COVID-19 vaccinations, there has been a decrease in demand for appointments in Lenawee County, officials said.
This is prompting the county’s health department to lift its residency requirement for those wishing to be vaccinated.
“When receiving your vaccine, you will no longer have to show identification proving that you live or work in Lenawee County,” Craig Tanis, Lenawee County Emergency Management Coordinator said.
The county also is offering multiple COVID-19 vaccination clinics.
A Moderna vaccine clinic is set for Thursday, April 22, at the Lenawee County Fairgrounds in Adrian.

The current surge in new cases is similar to that seen during the winter months.
