Both Lewis-Clark State basketball teams will play NAIA national tournament games Friday.
The 22nd ranked Warrior women will meet Campbellsville of Kentucky at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa Friday morning at 11am Pacific Time. The LC women advanced to the final site by upsetting 6th ranked Carroll College Saturday at the Activity Center.
The 4th ranked LC men will square-off against Oklahoma Wesleyan at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri Friday afternoon at 1:45pm Pacific Time. The Warrior men advanced to the final site after rolling past Benedictine – Mesa of Arizona at home Saturday.

The 22nd ranked Lewis-Clark State women’s basketball team will square-off against William Jessup of California Friday, March 12th at 5pm in the NAIA National Opening Round Tournament hosted by LC at the Activity Center.
Meanwhile, the 4thh ranked Warrior men received an opening day bye and will face the winner of Vanguard of California and Benedictine – Mesa of Arizona on Saturday night at 7:30pm. All LC post-season basketball games will be broadcast live on
AM 950 KOZE and streamed online at koze.com.
Winners of each National Opening Round Tournament advance to the final sites in Sioux City, Iowa for the women and Kansas City, Missouri for the men.

Damek Mitchell brought home the award for men’s basketball, Kiara Burlage got the nod for women’s basketball and Clayton VanDyke received the honor for indoor men’s track.
Both LC State Basketball teams clinched Cascade Conference championships this past weekend by defeating the College of Idaho in a best-of-three series. The pair of Warrior seniors contributed greatly in the victories. Track and field competed in the only indoor meet on the schedule before nationals and had multiple potential qualifiers.

LC forced 20 turnovers and held the Buccaneers to just 34 percent shooting from the field.
Lewiston native Trystan Bradley led the way with 16 points and freshman guard Oreon Courtney added 12 points and senior guard Hodges Bailey chipped in with 11 as the Warriors improved to 10-1. Park fell to 0-5 on the year.
