The Nightly: August 2nd, 2021 By Metal Matt on Aug 2, 2021, 11:08pm EDT 86 Okay match that went to a no contest to set up their Wrestlemania encounter. The Godwinns vs. local talent: Okay match. Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs. local talent: Okay squash match, it was revealed during this match that Helmsley would be the opponent of the returning Ultimate Warrior at Wrestlemania. Undertaker and Yokozuna vs. British Bulldog and Owen Hart: Not much of a match as things quickly broke down after Diesel assaulted Paul Bearer at ringside. Nitro: Okay match, surprised at how much offense Duggan got. Road Warriors vs. Steiner Bros: ....
The Nightly: July 27th, 2021 By Metal Matt on Jul 27, 2021, 11:07pm EDT 59 Solid opener, after this Yokozuna turned on Camp Cornett. Hakushi vs. 1-2-3 Kid: Undertaker vs. Bret Hart for the WWF Championship: Pretty good match, Diesel caused a draw between the two, continuing the path towards both the next In Your House and Wrestlemania. Randy Savage vs. Chris Benoit: Really good opener. Okay match, didn’t pick up until Sullivan and Pillman were brawling. Ric Flair vs. Marcus Bagwell: Mediocre match. Solid match. Overall, I would say that Raw had the upper hand this time around. While Nitro had Savage/Benoit, Raw’s main event was really good, as was Kid/Hakushi. The Nightly: July 25th, 2021 By Metal Matt on Jul 25, 2021, 11:04pm EDT 22 Vader vs. Savio Vega: Match was nothing compared to the post match angle, which had Vader attacking referees and even WWF President Gorilla Monsoon. Razor Ramon vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley: Solid match that continued to build towards Razor/1-2-3 Kid at the next In Your House. Bret Hart vs. Goldust: Nitro: Randy Savage vs. Ric Flair for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship: Really good match, and Savage would win the title, marking the first ever world title change on Nitro. Brian Pillman vs. Dean Malenko: Good match, the finish was a unique way for a heel to win using the ropes. ....
The Nightly: July 24th, 2021 By Metal Matt on Jul 24, 2021, 11:03pm EDT 26 Raw: Solid opener. The Ringmaster vs. Matt Hardy: Okay match, but went on a bit too long, though it was amusing to see Matt Hardy as a jobber in this match. Smoking Gunns vs. The Spiders: This was not much of a match, as Raw came back to the last minute of a match from what I assume was a commercial break. Undertaker vs. Issac Yankem: It was amusing to see Taker and the future Kane face off for the first time in WWF. Was a decent match. Nitro: ....
