This is the first year of the competition. Children from the Tudno ward gathered behind the Rugby Club on Thursday, June 3 to begin the planting out of their baskets for the contest, which is being led by Veronica Dufty in conjunction with the Town Council’s Llandudno in bloom committee. Flowers were provided free by B&Q and expert gardeners, from the bloom committee, were on hand to help the youngsters. A spokesperson from Llandudno Town Council said: The competition was organised by Mrs Veronica Dufty, a Llandudno resident, in conjunction with the town council’s Llandudno in Bloom committee as part of this year’s Llandudno in Bloom campaign. ....
