Man arrested, charged after alleged kidnapping in Polk County
LAKE ALFRED A quick-thinking friend helped to put a Webster man behind bars this week after Polk County Sheriff’s deputies say the man kidnapped his girlfriend and threatened her, telling her had a gun and would shoot her.
Marie Mosely told deputies she received a Facebook message on Tuesday from an unknown person, telling her that 28-year-old Louis Alberto Saez, Jr., “has her somewhere. Do you know where?”
Mosely then began repeatedly calling her friend, whose name is redacted in the deputy’s report because she is the victim of a domestic violence crime. Mosely’s friend answered the phone, telling Mosely, “it s not like that this time” and “everything was fine,” but Mosely said it sounded like her friend was crying. Mosely asked her friend repeatedly where she was, but she said Saez would not let her answer and hung up the phone. The victim said he then threw the phone out the car windo
